Newsletter Migration
(No action necessary!)
Howdy, friends!
This is going to be a month of many newsletters for you, but I promise each one will be worth it.
This one comes first! And the tl;dr: I’m moving my newsletter to my website. If you’re already subscribed here, you are probably good to go. If you aren’t subscribed, please go subscribe! And if you think you’re subscribed but don’t get an email March 31 (👀), then go re-subscribe on my website, with my apologies for the inconvenience.
Because of something that rhymes with ‘lover, see meal’ happening next week, I have started putting in action something I’ve been meaning to do for a while, namely, start centralizing all of my content on a place that is mine. (Eventually, this might mean something like ditching social media sites altogether, but I’m not sure if that’s going to happen.) Most importantly, though, every media site has their ups and downs and changes to discoverability and nazis and all, and so I really just want to have my own stuff. And since I already have a website that no one really goes to, I’ve decided to change that!
My new newsletter will essentially be all of my posts that I make on my website, and you’ll go there for the archives, and also be able to buy books and find my latest appearances and short stories/essays in one place. Much more convenient for everyone, though I will sacrifice a little simplicity. Please bear with me as I tidy up the website and make it easier to navigate and sleeker to read through.
(Cover reveal, for those of you who are struggling. Cover reveal for The Sovereign is next week, Mar 31, and it will come with the first chapter, just like The Unbroken and The Faithless! However, with the collapse of io9, I no longer have that outlet, and I’m booting it on my own. So, don’t be shy about sharing when the time comes. 😉)
Stay sharp, friends.
Cherae
p.s. Hopefully this will be the last time you hear from me from Substack, but there may still be some housekeeping to handle later.
