I listened to your sffaddicts podcast and really enjoyed it! And was so surprised to learn The Unbroken was something you started in a writing program (if I got that right?) that is so long to be in one world with youe characters! Can't wait for The Sovereign :)
Yeah, so I started it just after finishing undergrad, and finished the first draft right before I went to grad school. Then while I was there, I rewrote it a couple times, and a couple more times after I graduated, hahaha. It was a long, long road.
Wow that is wild to imagine! I would love to see Cantic and Djasha’s pov…so many intertwined stories. Jaghotai is such a powerful character but I could definitely also imagine her as a brother in the resistance.
Loved the Arcane series and searched if there were novels for the series. Then I found Ambessa: Chosen of the Wolf. What a great time and I truly enjoyed it. Can’t wait to start your other novels and looking forward to your updates.

So curious how different that first draft might have been!
So very different! Djasha and Cantic had their own POVs, and Jaghotai didn't even exist! She was Touraine's brother!!

So glad you found the Wolf! I hope you enjoy the rest of the books--there are going to be a lot of new ones this year.
